6th Wado-UK Presentation Evening 2013

On Friday 13th December 2013, the Wado UK membership once again converged on the John McCarthy Suite at the Hull University, for our end of year presentation night. With all the usual awards at both club and association level, the evening was well received by all in attendance. This years awards are outlined below, with the photography kindly being done once again by Dean Dent.

Thank you to all who did attend and help us celebrate yet another successful year for Wado UK!

The first association award was the Emily Pierce Memorial Shield. This award was designed to celebrate the life of Emily who passed away in 2010. This is the third year this award has been presented, and the recipient for 2013 was Laura Fee of the Zanshin Dojo

Steve Bell was this years winner following his assistance as a table official at our competitions, fundraising for the kids ice skating and bowling days, and promoting Wado UK at the Lord Mayors Parade.
